Event & Activities to do in Cambridge, MA

Fall is the perfect time of year to visit Cambridge and all of its neighborhoods! There are endless events and activities to do throughout the city to make your trip memorable. Cambridge is great for walking around and enjoying the beautiful fall foliage. Here are just a few of the exciting things to do around Cambridge this September.  

  • Farmers Market: There are several farmers’ markets that take place throughout the city of Cambridge. Central Square, Harvard Square, Cambridgeport, & Charles Square all host farmer’s market that go through the November.
  • Rockin’ by the River!: Stop by the Canal Park at CambridgeSide for live music, lawn games, and a beer garden both on Wednesday, September 21st & 28th!
  • PARK(ing) Day: On Friday, September 16th, Cambridge residents, and artists will temporarily transform metered parking spaces into “PARK(ing)” spaces. This international event is to bring awareness for more urban open space.
  • 4th Annual Harvard Square Folk Festival: From 12-4pm on Sunday, September 18th in Harvard Square there will be the 4th annual Folk Festival!
