Architecture Tours During The Head of the Charles

Late October in Boston means a lot of things to a lot of people. On luckier seasons, the Red Sox are
competing for a World Series, its peak foliage season, and on the banks of the Charles River spectators
view the largest Fall regatta in the world. This year, on October 21 st & 22 nd the Head of The Charles
Regatta returns.

An annual tradition since 1965 the Head of The Charles Regatta is the world’s largest two-day rowing
event. Over 11,000 athletes are expected to compete this year, filling the Charles with expatiations of
athletic glory.

While much action happens on the water, visitors flock to Boston on this weekend for the festivities
surrounding the events. Many vendors come to the area offering free merchandise, food samples, and
of course, the beer garden.

While, the Charles River will have restricted access for the competitors that weekend, we will be running
our famous Boston Architecture Cruises.

On the 21 st we have one vessel leaving @ 10:00 AM

On the 22 nd we will be running two vessels. One @ 10:00 AM & another @ 2:30PM

We will be able to provide our architecture cruise, and make it all the way to the Henry Longfellow
bridge, where passengers will be able to view hundreds of competitors warming up in the Charles. After
the cruise, stick around the area to partake in the festivities!
